Sorry, no story updated today. All just some work on the details of the site. I'll get the next part written ASAP.
On the navigation bar, you'll notice a new link marked Soundtrack. This is a playlist of songs put together on Project
Playlist. The player does not play automatically so it won't disturb whatever music you may be listening to. It can be launched
as a stand-alone player so that surfing can continue while the songs play. Go have a look.
Cleared out a good 1MB of pictures that were no longer being used and I didn't even know where still lying around. Did
some clean up on the old image gallery, too.
Also, NEW BANNER! 8D
Some page colors got switched around and I didn't really go over things with a fine-tooth comb. As such, some of the site's
"easter egg" hidden text might now be visible without highlighting it. So if there is any stupid things written
at the bottom of pages or in margins, you know why. ^^;

Here we are again! I have some stuff for the future in the works, including a theoretical music page, courtesy of ProjectPlaylist.
We shall see how I get that worked out.

Two new FAN ART images have been posted. I miss fan art. lol
Some general remodeling work on some details of the site. Odd little 'behind the scenes' work. I still need to figure
out what to stick up in the top corner there instead of the stupid gray checkers...

Anyway.
The first two chapters of Flipside Element: Intermission have been added to the story page. Like I said before, this is mostly
bare-bones kind of writing and some scraps I had laying about from forever ago. We'll get to the really juicy stuff as things
move on.
I must apologize for the rather ugly looking boxes around the Next and Previous buttons on the chapter pages.
The site generator seems to be having some lovely errors that prevent me from fixing that at the moment. ^^;

HERE IT IS! The triumphant(?) return of Flipside Element!
The first order of business is to issue a huge, gigantic, enormous thanks to anyone and everyone who has read Flipside
Element and is still with me now. You guys kick more ass than I could ever express in words!
Secondly, many of you will notice the new layout. I spiffed things up, buffed some stuff here and there. There is
one major feature that has been changed that I want to bring to everyone's attention.
All chapters of Flipside Element have been edited and updated! I can hear some of you already, "omg, wtf,
why would you do that?!" I wasn't happy with them, so I needed to fix them. HOWEVER! The general story has remained the
same. I figure we could all do with a refresher on what was happening in the story, (after, what? two years? yeah....
sorry about that... >.>; ) but for those of you who are cussing at me for trying to make you read the whole thing AGAIN, I
say, you don't have to. The only chapter that had anything really, really major changed in it was Chapter 31: Mobo.exe, so
if you don't want to have to re-read everything, just revisit that one. I highly recommend rereading, though. I think it's
a lot better now. >.>;
Because I did such a major update to all of the chapters, I'm going to give a little time before the new content
gets put up. This way everyone had some time to get a refreasher before the new chapter comes out.
"But, Gina! When are you going to put up the new chapter?! D: "
To answer you question, the next chapter will be uploaded next weekend. That's January 5th or 6th.
For anyone who would like to see the process of my updates over the last few weeks, scroll down on this page. (It's
kind of funny, actually.)
Once again, thanks to everyone who has stuck with it for this long. Let's see it through to the end.

YES! You understand correctly. All of the chapters currently up are being retouched and redone. Why? Well,
because the first ones felt kind of weak to me and the characters were horribly... well, out of character. So, the dialog
is being redone and some of the wording of things. Overall, the story is the same. Just spiffed up. I figure that after
the two (?) years hiatus that this story took, we could all use an update on what the hell's happening anyway. ^^;
This is taking longer than expected.

know how much crap I have to fix now, girl? This was going to be a simple edit, wham-bam, done, but noooo! I'm over here
fixing your stupid attempts at HTML! ... sometimes I loathe you so. Signed, your over 20 year old self.
Did you know there's hidden text on this site? ... yeah. You can find it by highlighting it. I forgot all about it until
now when I keep stumbling across really random shit written in the margins and things. Go figure.
On another note... I now remember how much I hate Trellix. Really, I think that all site generators just like to crap out
on you at the worst possible moment.
I'm doing the cosmetic work. I'm not launching it yet, obviously. Just thought I would throw this out here for when it does
get launched.

Well, here I am again. It's been a while. Sorry, no update on the story... yet.
I'm gonna be redoing some stuff on the site, messing with some things. The previous threat to put everything on Fanfiction.net
is withdrawn. Why? Because I site song lyrics in some of the chapters, and that's a no-no for FF.net. Copyright issues
and whatnot. SO! Flipside Element's chapters will continue to be updated here on this site.

I at least know few people visit the news page, so this will be posted on the home and new pages.
FLIPSIDE WILL BE UNDERGOING CHANGES!
This is due to the fact that I have neither the time nor the energy to do things as I used to do them. From now on, I'm
going to post the chapters of Flipside Element on FanFiction.net. Why? Many reasons. For one, it's a lot easier to upload
chapters to FF.net than it is here. And for anouther, FF.net makes it really easy for people to comment. What can I say? I'm
a comment whore, and I really don't get that many e-mails from this site, which really doesn't help in my remembering to write
and update on it.
Don't worry. There will still be links up on this site every time a new chapter is uploaded. Everything will mostly stay
the same, except that when you click on a chapter, you will be taken to that chapter on FanFiction.net.

I know, I know. I need to get these out more often. A thing called Life jumped me, beat the tar out of me, and locked
in in the trunk of its car. How's that for an excuse? hehe.
Clearly my mind has been on other things as of late. Part of me is starting to worry that Flipside is just getting boring
for the readers, and I really hope it isn't.
Anyway, on to what has been updated.
FLIPSIDE ELEMENT IS NOW FIVE YEARS OLD! Dear lord. That thought really scares the hell out of me.... Five years and still
writing. I really need to get this thing finished up something fierce...
I'm sure you all noticed the NEW SITE LAYOUT. Sorry if you get a little lost at first. Most things are still here, just
moved around. I did delete a few things, but they really needed some deletin'! Trust me.
Before I direct you to the thing you're really here for, (I can be a bitch that way,) here's something all of you RPGers
out there should take a look at.

Yep. Some great fans have put together an RPG. Trust me, this isn't like the lame RPGs I tried to make in the past. This one
is well thought out by these guys and could be very successful. All they need is one thing: MEMBERS! So, if you're enterested,
please go take a look.
Finally, the updates.
NEW FAN ART is now up in the fan art section. I'm sorry this took me so long, I really am, but everything was just against
me on this one. 0_<
There is now a COMMENTS BOOK. You will find the link to it on the bottom of every page. I'd love to hear from everyone
on what they think of the story chapters, so please use it.
New CAUGHT ON THE FLIPSIDE.
CHAPTER 46 IS UP. I don't like this chapter. I'm bored with it. But that's just me.
Character Profiles still under construction, as well as a few other minor details I'm sure I forgot by now. Those will
be touched up when I get the time.
No promisses as to when the next chapter will be out. I'm currently working on a comic and a new novel. (Yes, another
one. I never learn.) Fanfictions have taken a back seat to these things for the time being. Sorry, guys. Maybe if you give
me more reviews and such, I'll have more modivation and a reason to remember to write this one. ~subtle as a brick~

Finally updating! Wow, check that out....
Well, in the news of my life, I no longer have a job to the fact that the museum has closed for the season and when they
re-open will likely only be taking voleterees. ~snorts~ Like I'd put up with that shit for free.
In the news of the site, which is what you all actually care about, I've finally gotten over my writer's block. (Only
took writing the next chapter three different times....)
I must announce that there will be changes in the future of Flipside Element. I am sorry if anything in the site is messed
up, but due to Tripod updated beyond my control, I'm going to finally have to learn how to use some html. I think I can handle
it, but bare with me...
Also, the story is getting some major cut-backs, so to speak. Basically, when I started this story, I had a million ideas
and things. Now, as we're nearing chapter 50, I realize that I've made things far longer than I logically should have. Thus,
a lot of things I had slated for the future of the story are being scrapped. Don't worry, you'll all still get your story,
and hopefully it won't take so long to get where I want to go with it. And you won't miss anything, I promise. Any part that
I scrap which I feel is wtill worthy will likely be made into a short story later.
Well, the part you really, really want to hear. PART 43 and 44 ARE UP!
I've also got the new instalment of CAUGHT ON THE FLIPSIDE up.
I'm sorry, I know i have fan art I need to put up, but it's still scattered to all corners of the globe at the moment.

In the news of my life, I HAVE A JOB!!!!! ~jumps around like a monkey~ YAY! I finally have a means of getting money other
than hitting up my 'rents and my room-mate all the time! WEEEE! ~is happy, can you tell?~
Well, on to the news.
The character profiles have followed the lead of the story's chapters. The profiles are no longer displayed on the navigation
bar, but instead all come from a page, "Character Profiles," for reasons I need not explain. ^_~
The pages formerly known as "randon pics' is now called "Image Gallery." I'm making an attempt to make this site look
a bit more professional now that I actually know what I'm doing. Go figure. Anyway, there are new pictures up in the newly
formed Image Gallery Go have a look see at the new format, eh?
There is also a new installment of Caught on the Flipside. It has been up for a little while, but I didn't get the chance to finish the rest of the site update.
PLUS! I now have a long awaited page up.... The Character's Voices YAY! Go listen to what they sound like! I still don't have all the files yet, but I got tired of waiting.
And, what you all came to see..... CHAPTERS 40, 41 AND 42 ARE UP! So go read them already! Act I

the results of the last poll...

Finally updating! YAY! ~falls over and dies~
Sadly, I missed the birthday of Flipside on the first of last month... I had wanted this update to be out by
then, and to have a celebration pic, but things didn't work out that way. Oh, well. FLIPSIDE IS NOW THREE YEARS OLD!
....damn. o_0
ACK! They put up a new banner on my site while I wasn't looking! Ick, it's at the bottom of the pages, and it's UGLY!!!!
Ah, well. Excellent free service, so I donno what I'm bitching about.
Anyway, on to the updated goodies!

Well, some sad news to toss up here. ~_~ Those of you who talk to me (and those of you who don't... shame shame....
contact me, yo! :P ) may have noticed that I haven't been online as of late. The reason, which I could rant about almost endlessly,
I will keep simple. The phonebill at my house is outragous and until it is paid or until my dad gets a modem hook-up for his
new cell, I am without net service.
I have no way of knowing how long this will last now. Could be a week, could be months. Until that time, there aren't
likely to be any updates on Flipside Element. Trust me, I am not happy about this either and I was on the verge of getting
into a fight with my dad over it. Good thing his happy ass stayed in Peru a week longer... but I'm not getting into that!

Sticking to the business at hand, if it seems that it will take a lot longer than a few months, I'll get things uploaded
somehow. Keep an eye out.... and again, sorry for the delay.

ABOUT FREAKIN TIME, EH?! I must apologize for the lateness of this update. But I do hope the amount of content
(and the fight scene ^_~) will make up for it.
From now on, all pages with new material on them will have ~these symbols~ before and after the title.
Flipside Element Part 34 and 35 are now up! And they include a fight scene I've had in the works since
shortly after Nightwatcher and Chaos broke out... go check it out!
The Mini Poll has been updated. Read the story, then vote on it!

Well, quick update. Flipside Element part 33 has been added. I wrote the whole thing in an hour... course, that
hour was located between 3:00AM and 4:00AM... Heh. ^_^;

Well, the site's finally up after it's big update! ^_^ Seeing as I can't remember when I originally made this web site,
but I do remember it was some time in September, I am just going to call this day Flipside's birthday! HAPPY 2nd,
FLIPSIDE ELEMENT!!!
Well, let's see, what's new? Well, EVERYTHING! And when I say everything, I mean it! Tripod updated, so I ran through and
redid everything, including re-posting ALL of the stories! Yep, that's right!
STORIES Ok, I'll try to explain. You may notice the double spacing on paragraph breaks now. Well, that's
part of Tripod's update. Everything is like that now as default. (Except for weird moments it has where it goes back to he
old way. >_< But those are few and far between.) And seeing as I'm picky, I didn't want for parts of my site to be double
spaced and the rest of it all scrunched together. Hence the looooong, nearly year long pause before update. I know I've likely
lost some fans over it, but I do hope that there are still some of you out there! ^_^ (I'd love to get e-mails!)
Sooooo, not only did I re-add every story, but I also fixed typos and added a few random lines here and there. Nothing
to go back-tracking over, although I dare say you may want to after that long pause of no story.
And, I might add, parts 31 and 32 have been added! YAY! You're all gonna wanna kill me! ^_^ I
mean... ~looks around innocently~
MIDIS There are now MIDIs on most of the pages! ^_^ But don't worry! They're manual start ones. So, if
you happen to be listening to one of your fav CDs and don't want some stupid, ear-splittingly loud MIDI song suddenly busting
in like a drunken elephant in a flamingo pond, then... you... don't... have to... deal with it... Yeah! Uh, ok, so on the
off-chance you do wanna listen to MIDIs while reading/looking at pics/whatever you're doing, then just click the link in the
top of each page that reads "Music." Each part of the story has it own separate theme song, as I'm sure you'll notice. (It
was hell to find all of those MIDIs, trust me! X_x But fret not, dear... uh... MIDI maker... rights... type... person. Uh...
yeah. ANYWAY! I linked all the sites I took MIDIs from on the new Links page.)
OPENING PAGE I'm sure by now you noticed the major changes on the opening page. Not only did I get to
ditch the big, distracting, green goo (YAY!!!) but I also go to put a Flipside banner in its place! YAY! I like Tripod's new
update. ^_^
There are some pics of me up on the opening page, for those of you who were wondering about what I look like. (~puh~ yeah,
like you wondered that.) Plus I got a guest book, hit counter, a poll thingy-bob and a way past cool Adopt-a-Censorship
Panda from www.mabsland.com ! ^_^
PROFILES All profiles have been updated! Most of them now have details of Height and Weight, Species,
Markings/Scars, Marital Status, Passions, Dislikes, Abilities, Disadvantages, Weapon(s) of choice, and other random stuff.
I'll make a note right here... I found one crappy-ass graph on the net for average height and weight, and it was hard as hell
to read after I saved it, for some stupid reason. So, I was mostly guessing on things, and being as I am underweight (about
5'7" and exactly 100 pounds) I really have a warped idea of what peoples height and weight should be. (NO, I am NOT anorexic
or anything! I'm just thin and know very little about this kind of thing! >_<) Hence, things may be a bit off, but,
hell, I tried.
REVIEW There's now a review on the story up, written by none other than knuckles_at_sega of Knuckles Sonic
Club on Yahoo! Groups.

Welp, other than that, I can't say much. Hm... Oh, yeah! I got a soar throat a while back, lost my voice, and sounded EXACTLY
like my friend Jeremy! o.0 Jer also happens to be the voice of Sonic Resuki in my mind, and hopefully, he'll record me
some clips soon and I can post 'em. (~hint hint~) It was strange to walk around sounding like Resuki. o.0
